Awesome. Thunderbirds Music must have derived from Stingray. Neat.

Oysters can swim in formation. Who knew?

@QPRTokyo Fireball XL5, Stingray, and Super Car for me - but in North America it was The Thunderbirds that really caught on - same in Taiwan, I'm told. That's the reason that The Thunderbirds was made into a movie and the others weren't.

@baraxor For me it was Fireball XL5 (the reason I wanted to be a spaceman and have my Venus of the stars), then Stingray (and have my Marina but be desired by Atlanta) and then The Thunderbirds (and have my pick of Tin-tin and Lady Penelope)

This was my favorite Stingray episode. I love the March of the Oysters music!
The whole show was terrific.....wonderful adventures for kids, along with XL5, T-Birds, Supercar and Capt.Scarlet.

Ditto...it wasn't simply that I was older, I just didn't find the characters or the world of Thunderbirds as compelling as that of Stingray or Fireball XL5.
The vehicle models for Thunderbirds didn't seem as detailed or finished, either, as if they'd stretched a budget for two or three good models into five so-so ones.

@QPRTokyo . Same here. I remember Fireball XL5 and Stingray and was very impressed by them. I don't recall Capt Scarlet at all and wasn't interested in Thunderbirds. Maybe I saw them as little kids shows by the time Thunderbirds came out.

Loved Fireball XL5 Super Car Stingray Captain Scarlet but I just did not get hooked on Thunderbirds......am I alone on this???

Oh shit! It's an army of shells.

I'm not sure why it didn't show up in related videos. But if you go to my profile, you can find it among my other videos. Thanks!
