@rotkiv3451 Yeah I know =P. I honestly would buy a MacBook air 11" for what I intend to use a Tablet, which is just taking notes and do some light entertainment like watching movies and playing some old school DOS games, but it's 500€ vs 999€ I really can't afford one, plus a tablet is more convenient to just whip out and use, + it has touchscreen capabilities which is useful. I'm not taking my laptop to my Academy, with it's 2 hour battery time I'd kill myself XD.

@VoidKeeper + In the end I think users will choose which OS and device fits them best, that's why I'm sure no one will ever convince me to buy an android phone/tablet and I think I've never convinced anyone who uses android to switch to iOS. It's like Mac vs PC all over again...

@VoidKeeper I know what you mean, but before the iPad announcement, only 10% of websites were compatible with HTML5, now almost 70% is, so I think you agree apple scored this one, they made HTML5 grow a lot faster than expected, then users won't have to sacrifice battery life or face slowness.

I don't miss flash because all the websites I visit already support HTML5, but for guys like you who really like specific flash sites it can be quite annoying +

@rotkiv3451 I guess you have a point, but the great thing about a tablet like this one, or the transformer, is that it does everything out of the box, no need to get particular apps, this one even plays playstation 1 and PSP games which is a + for me since I'm a gamer, and it's HTML 5 compliant too, so when that change finally comes, it'll work. Flash may be dead, but it's been around a year already and Flash is still wildly out there, I wonder how long it'll take for HTML5 to be everywhere real

@VoidKeeper Apple likes to think ahead, so they decided not to support flash, which is a good thing because it doesn't work well in touchscreen devices and it's easily replaceable. As for SD cards, most iPad users don't want it, so it was not worth adding the port, I can't explain very well, but I read some articles pointed that if apple had added an SD slot to the iPad the price would be substantially higher, and it was better to make a separate connector for people who really need one.

@VoidKeeper We can play MKV using the VLC app. The video isn't 100% smooth but it works. Even adobe admits flash is dead, so that they are investing A LOT in HTML5 tools and converter. Newgrounds people are just lazy not to use it, but soon ther will be no content that can't be displayed on the iPad. Even though we can watch newsground videos, there are apps like iswifter and puffin that allow us to do that.

@rotkiv3451 Jailbreaking is a great thing really, it let's you do a lot that Apple doesn't let you, without jailbreaking though, you can forget it... but it still doesn't do flash and walking around with an adapter is nothing much I guess, but it's still annoying. I don't see what was the big problem with adding an SD port to that thing.. I honestly was waiting for one at the keynote it was announced, to my dismay it wasn't, I hate it that apple closes their devices so much.
