@lifelikerachael I have a "friend" who always tells me I look so much better when my hair is straight. It's rude to tell someone that. It's my hair, I wear it how I want and I don't need anyone's approval but it seriously upsets me when people say that straight hair looks so much "better" or neater.

i just recently started wearing my hair curly after wearing it straight for so long & all people do is come & touch it & say it's poofy ! first of all touching it messed my masterpiece & 2nd my hair isn't "poofy" , it's big curly & BEAUTIFUL !!

I have naturally big curly hair, and I have a complexion the color of caramel, I'd rather be curly than burn my hair straight. People constantly argue with me about my hair, hair color, and where I'm from. They argue about my hair being real, what kind of curl, is it malaysian, no I'm dominican, well accept your african american culture, how about you accept my culture! Its cute, Dont effin touch me! I usually wear my hair straight, but during the summer and at the end of spring I wear it curly and in twist-outs. When I went to school Caucasian girls were saying, Why don't you wear it like this all the time,you look so ethnic...., and beautiful?
