A pastor is to shepherd the Church. He cannot do such when he is being plastered over a screen in other churches. A pastor is more than just teaching the Scriptures, he is to protect and provide for the flock. If a pastor doesn't know his flock then he cannot do what a true shepherd is suppose to do.

@Chonkyman i was just gonna ask if Dr.MacArthur was ok with that title lol

@voiceofelijah2012 your deluded by pentecostal teaching. we are saved by faith, there is no such thing as a universally true 'salvation moment'. by what your describing, you jiggled on the floor, spoke in tongues and got saved. Whatever...but read the Bible, saving faith is a gift from God, it doesn't matter how it is experienced.

John MacArthur openly states he has NEVER accepted Christ - ever in his life. The truth remains the same, MacArthur has a head knowledge of Christ, but he has no heart knowledge because he has stated repeatedly that he never could remember ever having a salvation moment. This is terrible.

I can't agree more with McArthur. "Being there" matters.

Don't agree with a lot the MacArthur says BUT this is good advice.

Awesome comments, It is true we must get to know our Pastors and have communion with him!!!

I do think he needs to stop being on the radio then...It's the same thing.

Dr. MacArthur is full of much wisdom. The younger preachers MUST listen to him and learn from him. I am a young person and I HATE this "new" way of doing church. We are to worship in spirit and in truth.
