When was this tribute made, and is there any evidence of Milligan actually seeing it?

It was made in 1976 and was part of the film 'Reel People'. I have no idea if Spike Milligan ever saw it, although it had three showings on Channel Four between '81 and '88. I did manage to get him to autograph one of the drawings at a book signing though.
