Hitpoint data is from BlurYamaneko's Boss guide. You can find it here:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/197338/8746

What the heck is he talking about anyway?
I'm glad to be done with Ozma now and forever so maybe I can switch back to "happy mode" lol. After all it's not every day you find a hate speech video for a fictional character. lmao. But anyway on to the next boss fight.

Hades fights in a way similar to Ozma so he is almost as dangerous but at least he can't one hit you if your levels are above 40 and you are wearing proper armor. Well...he almost can if he does a curse and does a cleave before you can fix the mini status affliction. You will get more than you've bargained for. Just prepare for curse just like Ozma and add in body temperature and make sure you can absorb or nullify shadow. Turn on Autohaste, autoregen and blast him to smithers. (Don't forget master thief, that robe of the lords looks very tempting as does that extra pair of running shoes.)

Seeing as how the Dragon Hair's technique "Dragon Breath" is more than likely not used by anyone I decided to fire it off at Hades just for show. My Dragon Crest however does only a little over 3000 damage. The way Dragon Breath works is like an all-target version of Pumpkin Head/Minus Strike in which the calculation is MaxHp-CurrentHp however it hits all enemies. The calculation of the damage for all targets is done on the enemy you target. However the only thing there is Hades himself so he sort of "revenges" himself. As you can see it needs 78 magic points and magic points are not a dragon knight's thing.

Also I decided that since Hades is easy to overlook, (because a long time ago I though it was him that i had to get to in less than 12 hours and not the lich.) I could show the audience the synthesis menu. I'm not sure what a "Save the Queen" sword is good for but there is nothing left for me to buy in the game. Other than more gems maybe.

I couldn't show Ark because Hades absorbs shadow. Don't worry I'll fire it off in a later boss vid. Maybe Kuja?

I have one last bit of data to mention. For those of you who are watching me very carefully you'll notice that data that was underneath the file I was using the whole time changed. The data that was there was my only attempt to get Excalibur version two. After realizing what it really takes to get it I scratched the project. That data was just sitting there for more than a year. Instead I overwrote the file with a duplicate of the data I had before i fought Ozma. So I made an "Ozma-Bashing" file as I like to call it. What I'll use it for demonstrating the many techniques for fighting Ozma but those are vids I'll make some other time later. Depending on what mood I'm in and whether I feel like it or not.

  • @Jigsaw5999999999 I thought in France Zidane was a bald footballer that headbutts Italians?

  • nice fps

  • Gameshark rulex ¬¬"

  • bosses on this game are so weak. i mean really, only 50k for a lvl 92 boss. they should of at least made your characters attacks and skills weaker to make the battles more epic. either that, or give the bosses and enemies more hp, like well over 100k for bosses. e.g. 550,541 - hades lvl 92.

  • zinedine zidane ? XD no in france the name is djidane is not the same ^^

wee are stupid in france ^^

  • @UsKciTo to increase the thievery power you must steal from the first disc specially the bosses and wild encounters and if you keep doing that from disc one to disc 4 it will pay off trust me because then youll be doin 9999 damage all the time all it only cost 8 :)

  • The Ultimate FFIX Test:

Getting that reaction from Hades, and then buying the Excalibur II off of him.
