it's not an easy thing to say
coming from a girl
who has played with and pushed all out the way
but here i've found
what i never cared to find

it was his honey eyes
innocent heart
it was his lame jokes
that opened up this old rampart
his curly sideburns
rough fingers from guitar
the way he smells
who'd think that i'd take it this far?

did i mention his way with words
knows how to make me laugh
his tolerance when i'm being eccentric
i like to tease him
when he wears his sleeveless shirts
watching adult swim
until we laugh so hard it hurts

it was his honey eyes
love for nature
his body warmth
and he's kind
to think he found a dork like me
and likes what he sees
feeling wanted
like one of a kind
