This system enables a flameworker to have a burst
of firepower when needed the most - while heating
a point for blowing.
It does so without your having to leave one end of
the tube during a delicate maneuver just to re-adjust
the torch, and will allow you to turn the big flame off
even before starting to blow, thus saving gas and oxygen.
It will also leave the small fire as accurate as it was
before, as a bonus.

go to Timia Glass Channel
http://www.youtube.com/user/TimiaGlass
to see this system in action with a different torch.

Foot pedals of this sort are quite expensive - $400 at best.
(mechanical "gas savers" go for $350)
This system cost me roughly $130 , including quick-connectors and tubing.

PS- NEVER use ANY kind of oil or lube on Oxygen equipment, as this mixture will spontaniously explode. if you need it - ask your oxygen dealers, they have a special kind of lube for this. they might give you a little. a spoonfull goes a long way.
