This is Biscuit when he first came to The Gentle Barn. He was used at a pumpkin patch and after they closed for the season was being sent off to slaughter the next day.

  • @hanksnow82 ....are you serious? you really don't know about it? Duuuuuude omg. ohmigawd. JUST watch the Faces of Death slaughterhouse segment, Meet Your Meat, the Ohio veal farm videos, If Slaughterhouses Had Glass Walls, the KFC chicken factories, ALL factory farms are a cheap business, and thats what animals are to them. Cheap. And the people they hire are cruel--you would have to be to work there. JUST WATCH THE VIDEOS. Quit talking out of your ass if you dont know anything.

  • SWEET! Pigs are one of my very favorite animals.Such intelligent, loving, CLEAN, family oriented beings. Their suffering is a disgrace. I really appreciate all of the kind..EVOLVED people who get it. The Gentle Barn is a little piece of heaven...and it is surely run by Earth Angels!

  • Thank you for helping these beautiful animals.

  • @dancingzira They don't have sweat glands :)

They're clean in their habits, but they rely on the mud to cool them and protect their skin from sunburn.

  • Where are you guys located? I want to make a generous donation.

  • Aww so cute! that brown pig is HUGE!

  • Looks tasty to me!

  • Well, there goes the Pigs are clean animals myth! LOL Hes so cute though!

  • So very, very neat! Keep up the good work...

  • I just fell in love with a pig! What a happy boy <3 After watching so many horrible undercover farm videos, it brings me some much needed comfort to watch some of those animals get rescued and discover happiness for the first time. Thank you Gentle Barn.

  • I have been a vegetarian for 7yrs since I became aware of slaughter houses and the horrific killings that give you food. I am working on vegan and hope to be there totally very soon. Know what else? My beautiful appoloosa came to live here 8mths ago. She was on her way to Canada to be killed for food. At no cost she is alive, she is free and she has blessed my life. All animals deserve to keep their heartbeats. Go Biscuit! You are indeed Earth Angel blessed. Peace.

  • It doesn't get any better than that when you're in it for the animals!!! And the assholes out there that aren't, you're the one's that will reep what you sow!!! hahahaha
