First look at my first attempt to create a game... this is written in java and took me some time to get it even this far... well i hope you like it! and stay tuned for more updates!!!

from the vid:

Hello its me again, sorry about my first video. it didnt go as planned....
well in this video i will be showing you some features of a very early game in the making...
its coded 100% by myself including all of the graphics, it has many many glitches, and is so early in development that it should even be called a game yet...

so here it is!

yea something is very wrong with the firing...
and the detection once it hits the object...

but whatever, i am proud of this, and it was something that took me a very long time to do....

well i hoped you enjoyed this, stay tuned for more updates!!!

  • I know your probably either done this project or have quit it,

    1. Make it so that the firing sprites disapear after 5 seconds (make an if statement with a timer)

    2. Make a timer when shooting maybe every 2 seconds?

    3. I noticed that the y posistion of the bullets were off when you moved up/down, make sure it sets the y posistion to a perm pos and not changeable anywhere.

    Hope I helped.

  • I would suggest using Debut Video Recorder over Hypercam. It's free and doesn't have that annoying tag in the corner.

  • Good work man, keep it up!
