"Winky" The Humboldt Squid Part 1 of 3

My Buddy Larry was out fishing for rock fish as was I on the spit from the mainland of Neah Bay, Washington when during a walk I heard a splosh of water several times. Upon investigation I found a mysterious creature at the waters edge below me about 40 feet. After taking a few still photos, I descended the bolder strewn bank and approached "Winky". I actually took the three films now on YouTube as only two, breaking the filming for only a moment. "Winky" appears now in three acts. Be sure to look for parts 2 and 3, the exciting conclusion. There are numerous other films on Youtube of Humboldt Squid, but none to my knowledge have the close-ups of its marvelous body coloring changes or of its body movements in shallow water.
