Blaze Mobile Wallet enables consumers to purchase goods with their cell phones using "cell phone ready" POS terminals deployed at millions of retailers (e.g., McDonald's, 7-Eleven, AMC Theaters, etc) nationwide. A simple wave of your cell phone over the POS terminal is all it takes to pay at checkout. These POS terminals use Near Field Communications (NFC) to communicate with the cell phone to consummate the transaction. Consumers can use their existing cell phone (any of the existing 200 million legacy cell phones) by affixing Blaze Mobile's patent pending NFC sticker to their phone or one of the new state-of-the-art phones that come equipped with an embedded NFC chip. In addition to making in-store purchases, consumers can use their Blaze Mobile Wallet to purchase event tickets, manage bank accounts at any of the 8,000 supported financial institutions, view electronic receipts, and transfer funds just to anme a few
Ever heard of OBOPAY? It's a new PAY BY CELLPHONE transaction system. Free to sign up and 25c to send money. I guess you use a text and send the money to another cellphone number and that cellphone number correlates to an OBOPAY account. If it doesn't, the money is held in escrow until that cellphone user registers and accepts the money in waiting. I haven't tried it but it sounds pretty interesting. ANYONE USED IT YET?

It's very secure. You never have to hand your card over to a cashier, no account numbers or personal info that's viewable by anyone else so they can't copy it and use it... I'd rather have that than a normal card.

Hi regarding your concerns
this type of technology has been out there for long time, Japan use this on daily basis of course the service provider over there is not Blaze but DCMX ID (Docomo)or ID(Softbank) , nobody from Japan so far has complained on this technology and the fact that you can use your phone as a wallet is big advantage for many people. the only problem here in the US the way it have to be implemented. Let's hope in the future everybody can use this without limitations.
