Protecting the future of the earth is one of the biggest challenges that face us. Peugeot commits to it by launching the micro-hybrid e-HDi technology for the new 308 and 508 range with a new generation system Stop & Start that includes a reversible starter-alternator.

Stop & start technology turns off a car's engine whenever the car is at rest, for example at a stop light, in a traffic jam or at a stop sign. One of the features of this system is a stopwatch located in the dash to show you how long your engine has been switched off for each journey you take.

The innovation is that the restart is particularly smooth when the driver wishes to continue their journey.

Peugeot e-HDi micro-hybrid technology allows a significant reduction in the consumption of fuel and output of CO2 emissions for city driving.
