I've seen so many norwegian satanists but i want to ask them a question, are they joined into the church of satan? :P I wonder if Varg was. He should check laveyan rules of satanism, satanism is about loads of respect.

You should check the history of black metal better. Apart from Ihsahn most people in the Norwegian black metal scene disliked LaVey and thought his ideas were weak. In some of his earlier books LaVey stated he hated metal and thought it was stupid noise. The only reason why LaVey eventually said nice things about artists like Morbid Angel and Marilyn Manson (another clown) was to increase his popularity among the youth. LaVey was stupid and fake, try reading Crowley instead if you like satanism.

Paganism may be purer, but it's still fairytale made up bullshit for people who are terrified of reality. Not that there's anything wrong with that, faith is fine as long as it doesn't adversely effect other people, which it usually does. The sooner people abandoned the Abrahamic faiths, the better the world would be.

@jess16saint Yeah it means "dark seriousness or black seriousness", but it`s in my opinion also a pun because "alvor" is very similar to the word "alver" which is the Norwegian word for "elfs". Actually "alvor" means "elfs" in Swedish, the country next to Norway, so I doubt that the title is just randomly picked. lol.
