Man I live in Canada Nova Scotia and Manitoba. I've heard those guys on Channel 6 from both provinces. I even think I have heard them when skip wasn'r running LOL. Even hooked up to some of them on the internet.

what kind of a antenna is the best for a cb 27mhz radio i just have like a truck antenna on the roof cause i live in a small units and arnt allowed to put up anything big
-
@thedaddydrummer hey i hear those bye bye bye guys too where are you pickin em up at? and do you know where theyr at?
-
@jbrcar Tell that to the 1000's of people (and growing!) that do it you douchebag.
-
@thedaddydrummer Hey drummer I know its late in the game to respond well real late lol- the reason the guys on the superbowl (channel 6) as well as channel 11,20 and 26(the rosebowl) is that they volt and drive their systems as hard as they can and the pills(transistors) are pushed to the point of oversaturation. Unfortunately I guess is the draw back of runnin hard, you tend to sound "dirty". Most of those guys are great guys that if they hear ya theyll give you a shout. Great people all in all

horizontal antenna will tune you in better

Well don't know about now days bmxingtravis, guess the antenna can't be high because of FM rules, back in 90s I ran a sigma 4 about 40 feet off the ground thru a Cobra 148 gtl dx, Bremi 210's (cream 1s) to the old timers in the UK, then a ham master 4200 desk mic on ssb - DX & CB radio at it's best .. well enjoy happy DX'ing yawl

I remember back in the early 90's when the dx was so heavy, you couldn't talk to people in the next town. You literally had to run 250 watts to get through. Sometimes, you had to wait days in order for things to quiet down. The guys on channel 6 were so strong you could remove your coax cable and you will still hear them.

you need 4 nine foot pieces of wire and hook them to the antenna mount/ground and spread them out like in a plus sign. that will help your antenna alot. you can even put more than four if you want.
the cb dxing is dead?

It is getting better.. we are coming out of a dead period because of low sunspots but my later videos I show I made a few QSO's lately with this antenna. Keep watching i will film the next day the band opens up.

Is ch. 6 the black channel? I always hear the same guys blabbing about shit saying bye bye bye and just making a whole bunch of noise. Their radios get out there but their audio is crappy. Too much mic gain with power mic.

Ch 6 Superbowl Channel for african americans and jamacians... lol the only reason i monitoir is its a good indicator of how the conditions are rolling. If they bury my needle things usually arn't too bad on the other channels.
