Even funnier than the BBC version, and they haven't toned it down, thank god, still outrageous as ever. The gym rat sketch was great. A shame you have to have cable to see it in the U.S. It's shown OTA in Britain, but the FCC would probably ban it here. I'm glad Vicky didn't tone down her accent - I can well understand her even though she's from like the Bristol area. Yeah, but no, but yeah, my American friends can't understand a word, haha, so I have to translate. Stupid slags (not really).
0:20 They're gonna have ALL those here? 0:27 Ew, what is she wearing? 0:54 I thought Disney was dropping ties to Aristocats and Robin Hood. 1:22 Alright, what do you want? Do they need to start dropping tea chests into the harbor again?
thats my friend lauren! she's in my chorus class and she's amazingly talented and im soooo proud to know herrrr(: i cant wait to ask her about this tomorrow.
This HBO production of Little Britain is "bloody" awful.
Whether it was "kicked up a notch" for an American audience or HBO, it'll probably never be known. But, either way, it's a train wreck.
Wit and humor has been replaced with crude and often baseless humor geared more toward shocking its viewer into a nervous titter than inciting into genuine laughter.

I agree whole heartedly. I'm in Arizona and just learned about Little Britain from DVDs at Tempe Library and have been watching them for the last two months. When I found out on the Abroad DVD they were going Stateside, I cringed, thinking we'd ruin it, here in America. And we have. Not the same, folks. It's a shame. But, I'm glad they're here, working!!!
