  • He wasnt a nihilhist..shit lol

  • @Vulturu probably Bakunin said that because it is true. Jews in general (not all) pursue money and power over more important matters.

  • @Vulturu I don't see any need to justify his racism or defend his character, nor did I ever say he was a great mind. I just value his anarchist theorizing and revolutionary action. If character flaws made a theory invalid, we'd have no established fields of study, because every great mind has had some embarrassing or deplorable secret. It's the same with religion - I disagree with a lot of tenets of Islam, but I'll still read, say, Malcolm X.

  • @nocturnezero so you don't deny like other anarchists that anti-semits and racist are great minds. anarchists became so egalitarian only after their alliance with commies against fascists...

  • @Vulturu Those trends were pretty in vogue at the time... that shouldn't serve as any kind of rationalization, just an explanation for why otherwise such freethinking and innovative men should adopt those views. In any case, this shouldn't inform our study of their theories in any way. We are not concerned with their character as men, just with their innovations as anarchist theorists, to the extent their anti-Semitism does not inform their Anarchism.

  • @yioryoslouizos The Marxist axiom is "from each according to ability, to each according to need," which is very different from "to each according to achievement." In any case, I'm unsure who coined the phrase exactly. It's often attributed to Marx, but this could be wrong.

  • @dubified89 just don't have fear and the others will follow

  • @dubified89 the grammar is contexetual, (if you)sic. throw......(you will) spoil....;)
