The 2007 (96th) San Francisco Bay to Breakers foot race summarized in 60 seconds. The race begins on the east side where the city meets the San Francisco Bay and finishes 12km away on the west side where the city meets the Pacific Ocean. This year's race was won by John Korir who finished in 34 minutes and 44 seconds. This video captures the usual array of sweaty butt cracks, drunkards, religious zealots, salmon, celebrity impersonators, Hayes Street ascenders and random zaniness from start to finish in 60 seconds. I was waiting for someone to do the math on that one. I've been planning to reply by stating that the time from Start to Finish is 60 seconds, but I'll just confess right now that I haven't actually timed it, and I'm pretty sure Start to Finish is less than 60 seconds.
