This is the web browser I have made using C# in Visual Studio 2008. I am currently learning C# and this is the first program I have made using C# so it is quite basic. I will be adding to this including tabs and other features. If you have any ideas on different features i could incorporate please leave a comment. I based this browser loosely on Mozilla Firefox with the persona/ header idea. I will post another video of the more developed advanced browser when i have finished it. I am hoping to incorporate tabs and allow users to use their own files for the persona. Sorry the video quality is not great.

I give credit to pvjneji for 75% to 90% of the coding shown-.

pvjneji's videos are very useful and allowed me to create the base of this browser. If you are interested in this I encourage you to watch his videos.

Please subscribe to my channel as i will be uploading videos on a more regular basis.

  • How did you make it auto size?

  • @Newlon90 From what i remember you have to anchor the web browser component itself. In the object settings there should be something called an anchor and it should be anchored to each side. It will then re-size whenever the window is re-sized.

  • how did you make it that the webbrowser1 would follow the size? coz everytime i maximize the form to full siz i still have a small web browser

  • @saintscod98 From what i remember you need to anchor it, this can be done by clicking on the web browser component, going to the preferences, clicking on the anchor and you have to choose which sides to anchor it to. I think you would want to anchor to the right and the bottom.

  • Do you know how to upload or send your browser to a friend over aim or via email?

  • @XboxSharpie

This is how i would do it.

    1. go to the visual studio folder, then projects, then the project you want, then the top folder, then obj and then click release.

    2. there will be a .exe file there. Create a shoutcut for this and paste it into the web browser root folder.

    3. then zip the folder and add as an attachment or send the file over an instant messenger.

If you have anymore questions i will be happy to help.
