I think it's very litreal because of the idea the song has as it's watching this girl and also sees his side of emotions as if seeing a small part of life. That's why it may have been done that way. I'm not sure but not many videos ever make sense.

Such a sad but powerful song. Much like the feelings you get when you do see your ex girlfriend who you loved with another person. Yea, I've been in that situation and this song describes it perfectly.

I think its done quite well, Its simplistic, the lyrics and video speak to the emotions of the the guy looking back at his ex. an the emotional roller-coaster that it leads to.

I don't see anything wrong with the video maybe except that it's too literal to the song's lyrics.
