  • @DJNimda a little late here but what are you talking about of course they have an engine they use it all throughout flight

  • Looks like he needs more dead stick practice.

  • he was on the "one show" in UK today, he was explaining about Gyrocopters. this crash obvioulsy didnt put him off his passion for the interesting aircraft

  • Mr Wallis is a 1st class pilot, and has designed many gyro copters successfully .Yes he is getting old but arnt we all?

  • I have seen Mr wallis at waddington air show ,he also design a gyro for a bond film and yes like all of us he is old but is a 1st class pilot ,know matter what the sceptics say.

  • Hope he has insurance for that $15,000 gyrocopter, they do have insurance right?

  • Well if he was that was pretty amazing to give everybody a wave and then walk away from the crash!

  • The pilot is about 97 years old now.

  • LOL an autogyro has no engine that can stop. Yes there is an engine but it is just for starting!!

  • The goddamn point of gyros is that they don't spin wildly even when the rear engine cuts...
