Geoff Tate sings GNR song Night Train with Duff McKagan and his band, Loaded. This was KISW's Salute the Shield benefit show. All proceeds from this concert went to the families of the four fallen Lakewood Police Officers, who were ambushed and killed while in a coffee shop. Queensryche played an acoustic set and Duff also performed with Loaded. Over $50,000 was raised for the fallen officers' families.

  • Sound is very bad, but thanks for posting anyway :)

  • Yeah. It was the best I could do with my camera. More for effect!!

  • Pretty cool! Duff rocks and so does Tate/Queensryche... Next thing I'd like to hear is Axl singing Jet City Woman.

  • Yes I agree! Duff and Geoff are two music legends from the Seattle scene and what a treat to see them play a GNR song together.

  • take it this way. Geoff's voice has declined over the years (getting a little better post-04), yet even though he's little more than a shadow of his former self, his piss still has more talent than Axel ever did.

  • ummmm i saw the american soldier tour last year and the first song was neu regel and he sound fooking amazing...his like 52 and can still blow the door off with his pipes!

  • Bad sound but thank you for this video !!!

  • hey he could join velvet revolver then maybe Chris De Garmo might rejoin queensryche!

  • He's reading the lyrics on the floor. He had to do this with Y&T for the benefit for Phil, too.

  • @Shibagirl74 I dont care if the sound is off, this is badass. Thanks for posting

  • two of my fav musicans

  • @bluesruley2k BORN IN 1958 CHECK IT FOR YOURSELF..IM NOT SURE WHERE YA GOT 44 AT.

  • @pelicaninja He's NOT 52...He's only 44!

  • TATE IS VOCALS.

the man is the real master... and of course singing the old songs is harder cause the resting voice is lower.

but ive seen the man singing take hold of the flame in recent years and its superior to the early 1990's live version.

same thing with eric adams. he is better now, but in lower tone.

    same for halford etc

but TATE is the one on the top of the list
