I know exactly what you are going through with the opiate addiction/recovery.

I (as most who unfortunately realize our plight) started with Codeine (T3's), then progressed steadily over about 3 years from Vikes to percs, and percs to OC's, then from OC's to MS Contins (morphine of course), then onto Hydro/Oxy(morphones), before finally arriving at the 'pinnacle' - Heroin.

I then spent 6 months in MMT (Methadone Maintenance) before finally kicking... cold turkey 4 months ago.

Congrats! Yeah most people dont understand that with opiate addiction, its so crazy and tricky to quit because other opioids/opiates help some people in the process of quitting their addiction. I hate to say this...but I would not recommend anyone trying to quit cold turkey initially because it's success rate in virtually 0% because the withdrawal is so horrid and painful in and of itself that nearly everyone who tries the method the first time or two or three fail :( My hats off to you friend!

This video made as much sense as the Mrs Teen USA Video. Umm Education, South such as Africa, Afghaistan, Iraq, such as Methadone, Um Methamphetamine, SUch as Heroin South America. Fuck man what the hell was your point? Methadone is an artificial opiate used to keep opiate receptors happy so you don't lose your mind. Methamphetamine is a stimulant and if you know anyone who uses it even if they say they aren't addicted it consumes them just like an opiate addiction. Denial is denial is ...

@GeneticOpium1186 I speak from experience, I did it in high school and college with numerous friends, we all dropped it without any dramatic withdrawals or health side effects. Meth hysteria is the same as weed hysteria of the past, government propagated exaggerations and half truths. It's ironic how people balk at the lies of government campaigns about weed but accept their word on meth as gospel. History repeats itself...

I really liked your stand point on this- however I think that you should focus more on your "ummm'' addiction- than to Heroine/meth addiction. in exactly 7:39 "umm" was said 124 times. the effort was painfully too much for me to try & focus on anything other than "umm"

@0p14te, My first experience with any type of high whatsoever was with morphine.

It started when I broke my arm and was given an IV in the hospital. I never looked back. Like you, tylenol 3's (Codeine), to vicodin, to percacets. And here I lie.

As for you Dickydoo, there is withdrawal when trying to quit any substance, but by far opiates (Especially heroin) is the worst. Glad to hear you both are doing well on your road to recovery.

P.S. Ganja for all! Ive found this to be one of the best cures
