How deep does that hole go? It could be a compartment to store small survival tools, like paracord, fishing wire, and matches.

I have the Glock e-tool and I wish it had the wire cutter and hammer but I love it. A very good ZRT tool!!! I suspect the a many Chinese Army soldiers used to take this "tool" out to the rice patties with people who spoke out against their their government....

@TheAdmiralPancake it looks gay. nice option with the bottle opener...get drunk and dig. the pivot mechanism looks real cheesy. Saw is pointless unless you are a hobbit. I wouldn't pay 5 bucks for it.

This is just a commercial piece, not really issued to Chinese Army. Given time, maybe we will have a boss that is stupid enough to decide to issue that.
Chinese Army do not put their issued gears on video commercials, and the guy in Chinese camo jacket in the commercial is not a soldier.
