Sesame Street - Bumble Ardy's birthday 9

2011 UPDATE: Maurice Sendak has released a new book entitled Bumble-Ardy - get it now at your favorite book store (support your local one if you want it to survive)!

Political correctness for all in this, a true animated classic from Sesame Street. Looks like Maurice Sendak (and references to a book "Bumble Ardy" are on the net). Hmmmn...Bumble's voice sounds awfully familiar. Cheers!

I remember this somewhat well. I too was somewhat scared by it, but not to an overwhelming extent. One thing to note: Is the narrator here the same one on the '1-20 Number Elimination' clip from Sesame Street? Just wondering. Also, I see that there have been 99 text comments posted to this clip before mine, which is in keeping with the theme of the clip, and which isn't bad!:)

All the comments about censor today.....it boils down to 4 things: common sense, good judgement, discretion, and responsibility. All of who's definitions have apparently vanished from dictionaries today! Why is it that for generations people taught this stuff to their kids but suddenly, like the drop of a hat, our generation (I'm 40) seemed to have thrown it all out the window and left everything up to the LAW to handle for us? WHERE THE HECK IS *OUR* RESPONSIBILITY TO *OUR* KIDS?!
