  • i left school at 14 found my mother dead at 16 got a crappy job working for hills industries then got fired for a punch up with a chinese guy so I joined the army they didnt let me in the first time because i found my mother gasping for her life at 16. come back in a year we will teach u how to kill

  • @Justenzy The best way to increase your chances is to just continue on with school, It's not worth it to give it all up because you dont 'like' school, find something within the Defence Force that you would really LOVE to do set goals, and work towards them, I wanted to drop out too, I was told by my teachers and peers that I was intelligent and that these senior years (11&12) would depict what I could do with my life, I continued, Im now in year 11 studying to become a pilot within the RAAF.

  • im in year 9 its pretty much half way through the year but i want to drop out of school after year 10, but i hear its hard to get in without year 11&12, is that true and how can i increase my chance of getting in without year 11&12

Ah, I stay incorrected :) Thanks a lot mate, I always thought you had to be infantry for two years. Now I know I can apply for selection maybe after 3 years as Driver Transport :) Because my plan was to do my 4 years, corps transfer to infantry (if they let me) and do two years infantry so I can give selection a go in the future. How do you know when selections on?

  • @YourRETARDEDchild You are incorrect there.. Any serving member of the ADF be they Army, Navy or Air Force can apply for selection to the SASR, there has been sigs, engineers and there has even been a Hornet Pilot from 77 Squadron RAAF...

  • God Bless The Aus Troops
