use a plumbers pipe cutter, all this grinding uses energy and it is not that think a gauge of steel. Problem solved. Rub it down with sand paper and put a plumbers rubber bung on the end to give it a nice safe edge.

You could rip off the horizontal pipes, then bend the vertical pipe outward and down with a pipe bender. or just another piece of galvanised piping. You could also bend them inward, thus creating a bit of trellice. Also, Iḿ in Townsville, do you know where I can get IBC containers and how much they are?

@MrFatist Thanks for the comment. If you are looking for IBC's the best place is to go to a rural stockist like Elders, Wesfarmers or other rural trader. They would have them for storing chemicals, herbicide, pesticide and spray detergents to help chemicals stick better to plants when sprayed. As long as you can store water in them and get algae to grow on the inside walls of the IBC you will remove 99.99999% of any residue chemical. See next post for more...

@MrFatist Shop around and play one seller against the other because most of these IBC's are not returnable and you can pick the eyes out of the best of them. Play it like you are doing them a favour by using them for another purpose. Making their business more sustainable and attractive to others.
