@kevho12345 There is no need to cheat using salt. The person doing this demonstration didn't use salt. That way requires using a small pile of salt and then blowing away all the grains not necessary.

I tried it myself, and once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Some eggs may be easier than others, if the end is too smooth it may be all but impossible, but the second time only took me about 20 seconds or so to find the balance point. And it's still balancing as I type this.

the whole equinox thing is bullshit. People only say you can balance an egg on equinox because the earth is straight up and down. that doesn't effect the direction of the gravitational pull on the egg.
