@DerMetzger Higher revs won't do anything when all the power is down low though, to each his own I guess. Personally, I'd rather have something that has a good torque and power range mid to high, rather than having to rev the snot out of it to get any power..

Quite the contrary, friend. I know a fair amount about engines.

Ill admit freely that the long stroke and high displacement on this 4G54 makes it a definite torque beast. And if that down low torque is your thing, so be it. In my opinion they should have dropped the displacement a little and left some of that rotating mass on the bench for some higher revs.

But, thats just my opinion.

All my comment meant is that I prefer higher revs.
