This year, the Quesnel Figure Skating Club celebrates 50 years as a proud member of Skate Canada. For QFSC this campaign has certainly been a remarkable effort in 'Embracing Evolution'.......the 'evolution' of ideas.....the 'evolution' of participation by businesses, organizations (total of these two: 69) plus countless private individuals. And lastly, the 'evolution' of technology, as we needed to determine how to most effectively showcase our efforts. Here, in Quesnel, we believe "It takes a village to raise a child", and this presentation....'Skate Canada Lives Here'....truly shows that we had phenomenal community support to help QFSC 'hopefully' bring Kurt Browning to our home town. The majority of locations will be leaving their Skate Canada displays up until December 15th., to include the Regional Championships that Quesnel is hosting. The visual of the downtown core is amazing! "Skate Canada REALLY DOES Live Here".
Yay Quesnel Figure Skating Club from someone who skated from 1961-1968!!! Kurt Browning is one lucky guy. Have fun everybody.
