Turn Right- Chapter 16(Season One)

*Kevin's POV*
We just walked into the movie theater. I went to go buy the tickets with Barb and Kat, Nick and Aly went for snacks, and everyone else waited in the entry way.
Barb: So, like...11 tickets.
"Gotcha. Excuse me, sir?'
The guy turned around.
Guy: Can I help--oh. Uhm...hello, Barb...
Barb didn't say anything. She looked away and Kat patted her back, glaring at the dude. OH! He must be the dumbass who broke her heart.
Kat: John. Just give us 11 tickets for "The Informant." Please. Don't make this harder than it has to be. Kay?
She looked like she was about to raise her fist and punch him in the nose. That would've been quite a sight.
John: Alright, Alright.
He ripped off 11 tickets and took the money from me.
John: Here. Enjoy the show.
He glanced at Barb and I protectively moved closer on the other side of her, where Kat wasn't. We were near the snack line and far out of John's hearing range.
Barb: UGH! I HATE THAT DOUCHBAG.
"He seems...wierd."
Barb: That's not ALL he is...but don't bother with it, Kevin. He's not worth obsessing over.
Kat: Good for you!
Aly came over with Nick, each holding 3 trays of popcorn, three sodas, there were a few water bottles scattered here and there, pretzel nuggets, and Edy's Mint Chocolate Dibs Icecream.
"What a feast!"
Nick: Got that right.
Aly: Help? Please?
I took a tray from her and Barb took another. Kat took one from Nick. Joe, Regina, Yoshi, Taylor, Jazz, Jayme, and Lucas walked over and Yoshi took another tray from Nick to help. I handed everyone a ticket.
Lucas: *wraps his arm around Jayme* To theater 7!
Jayme: Off we go!
And we made our way to the theater. I smiled at Barb and she smiled back. I could tell tonight was gonna be a great night with some new friends.
*end POV*

*Aly's POV*
We got the tickets and food and made our way to theater 7.
Barb: Hey, Aly?
"Yeah?"
Barb: John...he...uh...
"He isn't bothering you is he? Texting? Calls? E-mails? Whats he doing? I'll set him straight."
Him and Todd and Mark and every other jerkface out there.
Barb: No, he was the ticket sales guy...and he was giving me wierd looks.
"Really? I'm sure it's fine. If he tries to touch you, you know the drill. We get Kevin to beat him up and save you!"
Barb: SHH! He's RIGHT THERE. And what makes you think I like him?
"Oh, nothing." I smiled evily. She gave me a fake-glare then half-laughed.
We reached the theater and went to the very back row. I loved sitting back here. It's not only a really good view, but we aren't really noticed all that much by movie security, so we can talk and whatever without getting kicked out. It's great.
Nick: Sit next to me?
"Sure." I smiled and sat on the far end and Nick took a seat next to me. I held out the tray I was holding and let him have some popcorn. The six trays were spread among us so we could all have an equal share of food. I took a sip of my coke. The lights dimmed as the last movie preview ended. Joe and Regina were crazy chatterboxes.
"Shh! It's starting!" I whispered loudly to them. They basically disregarded me.
Kat: REGINA! QUIET.
She stopped and looked over at Joe, when they both started laughing. I just laughed and rolled my eyes. They were cute to watch.
The opening credits were rolling and rolling. It was a couple of business men talking, I guess setting up the plot. I went in to grab a handful of popcorn when it brushed against Nick's. I pulled my hand away and whispered, "Sorry." It's a good thing it's dark...I was blushing like MAD. He whispered back.
Nick: It's fine.
He let me get some first. He was such a gentleman! And he's really sweet too...and when I touched his hand it was like I should've been holding it. NO. ALY STOP. You will NOT fall for a seemingly perfect guy. JUST FRIENDS ALY. You can't have your heart shattered again.
*end POV*
