Hi, it was just typical one day hike without any rush. I left the campsite arournd 9-10am and was back 6pm or so. You can get a free map from the park's office. I hitchhiked in Iceland alone for two weeks and in my opinion this hike to the top of Kristínartindar should be on the "Must Do" list of everyone who comes to Iceland:)))
