Arabic: Lesson 1, Part 1 (Alphabet)

This is the first in a series of arabic language lessons, which will cover the written language and then speech. This lesson is a two parter and contains the basic isolated consonant forms. Stay tuned for the next installation, where you will learn how to write basic words and how the isolated consonants change shape depending on where they are in the word.

Learning Arabic is not as hard as you'd think if you have a good system. I've had to pick up bits and pieces here and there and it is my hope that by bringing them together and sharing them, others will be able to quickly learn how to master this beautiful language.

i've always wanted to learn the arabic language for 2 reasons.......1. Im still and school and it would look great on my transcript to be labeled "bilingual". 2. the arabic language has always apealed to my senses as "cool".... i like the way it sounds and the way it's spoken for what reason i've no idea

@linkin413 trust me dude arabic is so hard ... there are tons and tons words that even we arabians sometimes cant understand... try reading the arabic pre-islamic poetry, u wont understand shit!!

ok that was a good lesson but you are writting the second gruop the wrong way( i mean the jeem , hah and khah ) the funny thing is that you write them like the letter( te) in jappanese :P , but still your lesson is good and i liked it >> btw im kwuaiti ( our language is arabic :P)
