You have saved me a HUGE headache! I had started a granny square blanket but stopped because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of joining. I found this video via a comment on Facebook and wanted to very enthusiastically THANK YOU for posting this! I'm very excited to try it!

I've seen this on crocheted blankets before, but didn't know how it was done. Thank you so much for making this tut to show how!! It's very pretty & lacey looking. I just love it! I'm currently working on a granny square baby blanket & wished I would have seen this before I started. I'm definately keeping this in mind for next time :)

I don''t see why you couldn't add another border to it once you have put it all together. I put a 3 layer border around a blanket that i made with this joining technique. Just find some borders you like and mix em up ;)

I'm pretty sure I just heard some Harry Potter music in the background 3:30 - 3:40 ! Thanks for teaching this, it just might be the join I choose for my baby afghan I am currently making...though I might have to be more careful in making my squares the same size, since they all used different patterns. It is the 2010 Crochet Block-a-Month CAL on Ravelry That I am doing. Thanks again!

I made granny squares for a blanket for my daughter (due in October!!) and I was looking for an attractive flat way to join them without sewing and absolutely LOVE this! It is so pretty! The border it makes looks great, but is just a little too delicate I think, for what I need. I was just wondering annemkell: Can you add another border around the entire piece once its all put together?? I guess I could just experiment to see if I like anything, I was just curious if you had any tips?

Thank you so much!! I don't see why you couldn't add another border once you have finished the joining. I actually added a 3 layer border to a blanket I made with this joining technique. Just pick some borders you like and mix em up ;)

You are FANTASTIC! I have been trying to find an easy and attractive way to join squares for the longest time! Either it was difficult to understand or just didn't look nice. Your method looks really lovely and is very easy to do so I will be adopting this method from now on. Your teaching method is perfect - you made it very easy to understand. I'll be on the lookout for more of your instructional videos. Thanks heaps!

Thank you so much!!! I hope to make more videos in the near future. My camera died a year ago and haven't had the money to get a new one ,but sales are picking up so I am hopeful :)
