Hughie Benson, best of the best. I had the honour of serving with him in 2 R IRISH and Depot R IRISH, Taught me how to soldier, taught me the value of friendship (and how to ski, lol). Both a damned good soldier and damned good friend. Damned few like him left...

@Moerdarvalen didnt have enough education. he joined at 16 yrs old ,to be a officer of senior rank you must have a college degree.

@Moerdarvalen LE Officer. He would've in the ranks as a Pte and got promoted up to WO1 before applying for a late entry commission and being put up to Captain.

@Moerdarvalen Late Entry Commission - he was originally an enlisted soldier, so has climbed more ranks than most people.

@Moerdarvalen the reason that is if you listen properly is that he went THROUGH the ranks he started as an NCO and one getting to W01 gained a commission ;P
