when sian left sophie they were gonna end their lesbian storyline right there but when they announced that they were going to there were so many protest on websites and on youtube that they kept the storyline with them so they had sophie fall off a building and have sian come and tell sophie she loves her and that she is not leaving.. so as long as therre is a positive interest into this relationship they will keep it in the show

2nd half of the wedding episode reveal. Sophie whispers "I love you" to Sian after Sally encourages them to go ahead and hug because "nobody around here thinks you're not normal".
