I'm American and I do complain about some thing if I don't like it; especially food. I would definitely say something too and not leave a tip. :D Americans are very blunt.

I am an american and I NEVER complain in a restaurant......I just never go back. If you send the food back to the kitchen they will no doubt spit in it...or worse
