    i read on a turkey package THAT I BOUGHT AT A GROCERY STORE many years ago, if you want a moist breast , just cook it breast side down, the dark meat is on the back , and the juices will go down and soak the breast side, and yes it works, you get a moist breast that is delicious. the only down side is that you may not have as much juice for the gravy as before.

    I fry my turkey every year, best fryer burner is anything above 150,000 btu, lower btu's will take forever to cook and make the turkey greasy.

    It took me some research because he blacked out the brand name, but it looks like the burner he uses is the Bayou Classic SQ14 Single Burner Outdoor Patio Stove. I'm gonna pick one up at Walmart for $50. And the pot is the Bayou Classic Aluminum Turkey Fryer Stockpot - 30 qt. Also at Walmart for $54. I'm gonna skip the turkey derrick and just be really careful.
