  • If you like the sound of the guitar on this track check out James Cotton 'Cotton crop blues' Pat is playin' on that as well. Its absolute knock out. A killer!! Pardon the pun.

  • Read about this tune in the Keith Ritchards book, this fucker knocks me out ,the twangy electric guitar is such a killer ,years ahead of anyone else that l can place ,the man had soul ,an l guess he sold it to the devil eh , Still ,crime of passion used to be a valid defence ,at least l got to hear this song ,it's a killer. Now l set upon my rock history readings ,with a highlighter , waiting with bated breath ,to get home to You Tube..... a new buried treasure everyday....

  • How could we get that guitar sound?

  • Vocally, he sounds alot like J.B. Lenoir...... Hubert Sumlins influence?

  • 9 Years after this un released cut sun never issued this he murdered his girlfriend in 1963

  • Quite primitive guitar scratching.

  • He really murdered his girlfriend and a policeman, dying in jail with a lung cancer.

  • Great. thanks for upload. Check out Little Walter - Boom Boom Out Go The Lights

  • Reissued in the 90s on Charly Records

I miss Charly Records : they released great stuff

    gr from Holland

  • I like the sound.
