Crosman Phantom 1000x Air Rifle

Ive had this gun for a while and wanted to see if I could film through the scope, this shot was about 35-40 feet.
AND NOW FOR A LITTLE MUCH NEEDED FAQ PUSH MORE INFO!!!
Q: How did you sight in the scope?
A: Persistence, and firing groups of 5-10 and then adjusting. (Side note: the scope that comes with it doesn't stay accurate for long I would recommend buying a better one)

Q: Where can you buy this?
A: Dicks sporting goods, walmart, online at a number of websites.

Q: Can this kill animals
A: Yes but it depends on what size, the largest animal you should attempt to hunt would be a squirrel or a rabbit, the power is not reliable enough to kill anything bigger and will leave you with a wounded animal, just don't do it alright?

Q: Is it loud?
A: Normally no, the first few shots will be loud because the lubricant in the spring chamber is combusting, this may also happen when you re-lube it

Q: I can't sight in the scope whatsoever, what should I do?
A: This happens a lot because of the relatively poor quality of the scope, If you really can't do it then just use the iron sights they work great.

Q: Dryfiring it is loud and surprises all my friends, is it bad for the gun?
A: Yes! very bad, once or twice will not hurt it but if it is done consistently it can lead to damage

Q: What are the best pellets to use?
A: I prefer Crosman premier pointed pellets and the regular crosman round heads, Gamo pellets work pretty well too. As for the gold PBA ammo, they may shot faster but this leads to accuracy loss especially at long ranges. IF you plan on hunting it is better to use a heavier pellet that moves slower, it has more energy behind it.

Q: Does it really shoot 1000 FPS?
A: Probably not, it probably shoots in the mid 900s but it really depends on the pellet this is just a nice long number to put on the box, because less people would buy the Crosman Phantom 946X

why is your fiber optics visible in your scope. is that ok? how do you get rid of it

@SuperChrismccall It really doesn't show up when I'm using it, only in the video cause of the angle the camera is facing into the scope

I'm not in any means saying crosman is bad i just prefer gamo as their air rifles (e.g. big cat 1200 or varmit hunter) are very affordable and pretty good quality, the look of this style is also cool

i have its cousin, the storm xt. actully the same gun with a different stock. i like mines, lube tuned, and accurate with crosman premier hollow points.
