Phantom Zero Addresses His Detractors

I know for a fact that people have been talking bout me behind my back in a fain attempt to manipulate various individuals to their own ends, inciting various reactions with an alchemical mixture of both truth and lies.

Fortunately, while I normally divorce myself from the RLSH's community socialization and rumor aspect, the information that was being spread without regard for the involved individuals trickled down to me, and thus, this is my response.

Their supposition is the furthest from fact, for there is no certainty without the verification. Sans that, acting on information without my confidence, crosses the line of comfort and anonymity I have drawn across that which defines my real life and my identity of Phantom Zero.

I could care less about most things said about me. The spreading of lies about people, easily fabricated lies, in an online community, is nearly unavoidable. They trickle off, because there is little to nothing they stick to. But, threaten myself and my friends or loved ones, that which compose my private and personal life--or total strangers undeserved of rough treatment piled on them--out of malice or spite or any other destructive unreasoning, and my reaction is quite different.

The best way to handle bullies who snipe at people from the relatively safe position behind a computer screen or phone is to take their secret snake oil sales tongue and expose them for what they are.

I consider the gauntlet tossed, and this is my response. I only seek what is just, and I will press on with equal and opposite force so long as the forces pressed against me persist.

Or, as the immortal sage Blade once said, "Some m*****f******s are always trying to ice skate uphill."

I heard about them rumors PZ. Its nothing to get worked up over, trust me. There was only one peice of information that I found curious and it makes me and a few of the hero's I know wonder if you are in fact a HERO. The things we herd lead us to believe that you are not so much so. Not once, maybe only recently every rumor listed seems hoaxed!

I applaud you PZ, for not simply ignoring ppl who have nothing better to do with their time then to talk shit about someone. Although I havent heard these rumours, I have read about you and watched all your clips, what you are doing for the community, in my view, does not warrant anyone to be malicous toward you. I try to help people in my RL community & the RLSH community. I'm a "live & let live" type person, with a tolerance for the wide spectrum of philosophies which can & do co-exist. Rarely, if I don't get along w/ someone, I leave them alone or ignore them. There are individuals, very few, who dislike me merely because I do help others, maintain unaligned neutrality, and try to motivate individuals to get their message out; rather than do good, they try to harm others. That's destructive ego.

@thegodofpop1 to my knowledge no. most of the confrontations that have taken place with the heroes have been random things, stopping a Mugging, stopping a convinience store robbery, stopping a girlfriend beating, etc. I can't really think of a time where any of the villains has actually met one of the Villains but I could be wrong.
