The Rapture

I know many of us have heard several times throughout our lives that the "end times" are near and as humans, I believe sometimes we tend not to believe but remember this, what seems like a long time to us is just a glimpse of time in eternity! If you are not a saved christian, I implore you to give a lot of thought to your salvation and where you want to spend eternity. Don't listen to what other people tell you or even what I tell you, open your Bible and let the word of God direct you. The only thing that is necessary to go to heaven is to confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! Amen! I mean this message with great love!

isn't it somekind of sin for one to believe that they are beyond gods wrath? I read something about how if you are very religious and believe that you are beyond whatever doomsday comes [if it does], you are sinning?

@ljackso Not bad.The place of safety could be Petra.The Bible does not directly say that irrefutably.Not the Jewish people or physical Israel,but the called out one's,including gentile's,that have been "Called" out by the Father (John 6:44) into his one Church or Body with it's many members that make up the Temple (Ephesians 2:19-22) "Spiritual Israel" or "The Church",that hold's fast to all that was taught under the Apostle in the church age of Philadelphia.Read Revelation 3:7-13)

The Rapture is taught through the bible. The word Rapture is not used because the word for "Caught up" was translated into English as "rapture". The 'Place of Safety" is Petra and it is where the Jewish people will find safety from Satan during the Great Tribulation. God will protect them there. The Bride of Christ (Church) will be spared from 'The wrath to come'. The important thing is have Jesus as Lord and Savior. The rapture is just another blessing. In Christ love. lj
