Another forgotten UK Gameshow. Made by BBC and hosted by Paul Daniels from 1981-1985. All the contestants had to do was find the odd one out from four "things". Music by Ronnie Hazelhurst (aka Mr Blankety Blank)

  • I loved this show! Scary titles though! I saw Paul Daniels in a show local to me and when it was finished I got a book of card tricks and gave to the staff of the theatre for Paul to sign which he did, but when I moved I lost it , so emailed Paul and he gave me another, and said that was the last book ever as it was going out of print!

  • Intro really emphasizes Daniels, doesn't it?

  • Yes, a really good show, with a simple yet highly effective format and with a very good host in Paul Daniels - I used to love it as a kid. I've felt for a long time now that Daniels was better as a quiz host than as a magician.

  • Long time since I've seen the opening titles of this quiz. Quite a good quizif I recall. :)

  • I used to love watching Odd One Out when I was 15, back in 1983 and I was really good at it!

  • Quite Nick. Most gameshows nowadays require no knowledge whatsoever [Bar maybe Countdown and University Challenge]. DoND and TCoM are based on luck, so maybe we need to bring back gameshows where we don't have a total numpty with a sob story thats seen as more important than knowledge.

  • Ho ho, must go 'ome and s**g Debbie!

  • What a c**t. Unsuccessfully revisiting the old Bruce Forsythe: "so much better than the audience we had last week" in-joke regarding recording several episodes in a day mixed with other "I'm getting paid more than you could possibly win" smugness. C**t.

  • Forgotten and unmissed!!

  • Thank god someone has this knowledge...

  • Helen Wallace, where are you now? Still with us?
