@Blakmajik78 Don't leave out those with trade skills. They are just as productive. A college degree is not the only path to success.

For those simple minded people that have this misconception about blacks, we are not this "hood" or "thug" life that is over exposed on TV. MANY of us attend universities (many HBCU's) get our degrees and go on to be tax paying citizens with good jobs. My mother (single mother) put all 3 of her boys through universities and never been to the jailhouse or cemetary behind us. My family has 1 M.I.T graduate, 4 with doctorate degrees, 50% of us are higher ed and two own their own private school.

to the comment posted about how blacks are lazy...One thing you must realize is that black people are not lazy, we basically started this nation. Black women served white people, and black men were sharecroppers, we have a lot to come through. We are a true race of people who know how to work, and we do what we have to. I am so sick of people using the stereotypes that blacks are lazy. ITS HARD TO GET A GOOD JOB, because most blacks dont not have the knowledge!
