Please make sure that your Windows User Account is an "Admin" or that you are logged in as an "Administrator". First time a device is attached to the computer, Windows will install needed drivers. If your Windows Account is just a regular user and not an "Admin" (of if you are not the "Administrator"), then Windows will be unable to install the drivers for your N900 and hence, you won't be able to complete the flashing procedure.

Hi Friend,
There is actually a Wiki page for this if you prefer a written tutorial (wiki.maemo.org and then look for the article named "Updating the Tablet Firmware"). I merely made a video of that article, which is what you guys are viewing in YouTube. :)

Hey, great guide! I have one question though.. Why did you unplug phone before you pasted 3rd line (the one with -R), and on your other guide you didn't unplug it, but you just pressed "u" like in the first step? Is it needed or not? Cheers

Sometimes when you're on Step 3 of flashing,just pressing the U key (without unplugging and re-plugging) doesn't work. Only do the unplug-replug if you experience a problem.
