Apparently the translation of this was given up and kaioshin doesn't do romhacking anymore. What a shame. Oh well at least we can look forward to the NES original being translated by Aeon Genesis if that ever gets finished.

Kaioshin wasn't directly involved in this project. He and kingmike were the original owners of the Romhacking Aerie, and they let me host this project on their site. The translator has done all the work needed, and it's just waiting on me. I've just had a busy time the last few months with getting a new house and job. But I will not let this project die. If it actually comes to it, I will at least pass all my work on to someone who can finish it, or make it public domain.

@ddstranslation First off congrats on the new house and job! Hope all is working out well. I'm glad to see this project still underway after so many years. I just recently started playing SMT for SNES and was hoping to find such a project underway! Is there any possible time frame you can give us?

@JenadaeX Thanks. If I could get a few weeks of time off, I could probably buckle down and finish the script editor tool and other last bits, and push this to the testing phase. I think I pitched a late 2011 date earlier this year, and I still hope to make it. If not a release, then at least a test candidate. There will undoubtedly be many bugs to squash then.

The project is still alive, just waiting for all translation work to be completed. I'd estimate 50% of it is done now. There is a lot of text to work with.

About the grammar, yeah, I was thinking of adding a system to detect whether to use plural or singular verbs. But it's a low priority right now. "Charged" was a literal translation, as in tackling or throwing your weight. There are several generic actions for other attacks, like "bit", "slashed" and of course, "attacked".
