  • Hey Tom, good stuff. I feel my IQ spike every time I watch one of your videos.

  • Hey, that's great! I know that's what I look for in the videos I watch, too. Thanks.

  • Tom Barnett is a fascist.

  • Wow, there's one I've never heard before. I think he's brilliant and humane. I see you're from Slovenia. His thoughts about countries like yours is very positive; poised to be leading members in the EU and models of how to recover from a terrible history.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • Pretty good video. I don't really look at the world with dollar signs though.

  • Thanks. I think dollars are an important part of what makes the world go 'round...not everything, but an important thing.

  • Are boomers through? No X,Y, and the Millenials will be servicing their debt and ignoring their own for the rest of their lives. The boomers are going to live a long long time and will eventually be sucking up 50% or more of all productive income through social security.

  • they have done a lot ... but like those with too much success, one does become complacent ... stagnant. It is time for the youngsters of today to provide the fire for change ... so desperately needed.

  • Tom, thanks for sharing your conference postmortem thought.

I think any good marketer will never ignore a vast demographics as the baby boomers (and their discretionary funds☺ yet, at Chris Anderson's universe listening to his intern makes perfect sense giving the target audience of Wired Magazine.

  • I haven't read any of his work, but based on book reviews I've read on Amazon, he seems like a typical "pax americana" neocon, who supported the Iraq war from the start.

The terrible history of Slovenia you talk about was caused by countries who thought they had "god's right" of closing the gap between the "functioning core" and "non-integrated" countries by military means some 60 years ago, using Barnett's terminology.

A warmonger can't be humane by definition.
