But I think my girlfriend is cheating on me
Some of her excuses are plausible, it's true
Like when she's stays late at work or when she got the flu
Other times they just leave me confused
Like the third time she went to her gran's funeral.

Now I don't wanna mess this up, it could be fine
It's possible she's not done anything that's out of line
But I can't figure out why a girl that lives alone
Has a Gillette Mach 3 next to her shaving foam.

She said is was he brothers, from when he came to stay
I didn't know she had a brother, or that she was in a play
But apparently she is, with this guy from down the road
When I walked in on them kissing they explained about the show...

He told me with a smirk that he was playing Macbeth
I asked for her character, she said 'Juliet'
I said 'They're from two different plays, my dear'
She told me it was like Super Smash Brothers... but with Shakespeare.

I think my girlfriend is cheating on me.
I said 'that can't be true, but I'm copyrighting the idea,
Just imagine 'A Midsummer Night's King Lear!''
But I'm probably being paranoid so I'll just let it slide
And she probably was giving that guy the kiss of life...
