moped trouble

the moped has fresh gas, oil and a new spark plug but it still runs like shit i have very little expreience with mopeds so all advice is appericated it runs fine with the choke on, but when the choke is off it runs like shit it slowly putters out.

its most likely a dirty carb thats your problem. the jets in it are clogged with old dirty gas. you can find online how to remove and clean the carb on your bike

i tried a bunch of things but nothing worked so i ended up taking it to the shop and apparently it had a bad base head gasket so when it ran off of choke itm would pull air through there and not through the carb so it just ran out of gas.

I have a 96 Tomos, looks just like yours and has the same problem.

Mine do the same thing but i need starting fluild to start it up then i can just ride it til i let go off throttle and idle low then it will just cut off??
