Part I:
Words: Rabbi Elazar Azkari (16th Century)
Music: Rabbi Y. H. Ashlag (1885-1955), author of "HaSulam" ["the ladder," interpretive commentary on the Zohar]
Sung as part of the midnight prayer recitation and welcoming the Sabbath. Acrostic of the first of each stanza forms the four-letter name of God
Part II:
Words: Rabbi Elazar Azkari (16th Century)
Music: Moroccan melody, sung to welcome the Sabbath

  • I am also Muslim by definition and follow the "Sufi" way, this music is so similar and both are beautiful way to remember our creator. Salaam/Shalom in there is the only difference, but same meaning, just like the religions in my opinion!
